<p><strong>Coffee Break </strong>is UNMIL Radio’s flagship news and current affairs program that highlights issues of concerns to UNMIL, government of Liberia, Civil Society and Grassroots communities. Issues such as peace and reconciliation, elections, women’s issues, current events, governance, rule of law, electricity and road construction among others are captured in the program which is aired Monday-Friday.</p>
<p>Coffee Break today featured live interviews with the following persons and issues:</p>
<ul><li><strong>Dr. Michael Slawon</strong> – Director / Commission on Higher Education said the Commission is concern about operation of unaccredited higher institutions of learning in the country.</li>
<li><strong>Siatta Scott Johnson</strong> – Coordinator / Female Journalist Association of Liberia said FeJal will shortly launch a project geared towards increasing women political participation in the 2017 elections.</li>
<li><strong>Nathaniel Solo</strong> – Director for Legislative Assistance on Treaty Matters and Laws at the Independent National Human Rights Commission said the Commission has commenced activities to popularize the National Human Rights Action Plan in Liberia.</li>
<li><strong>Darius Weamie</strong> – Communications Officer /Margibi say road rehabilitation in Kakata has resumed after a long pause.</li>
<li><strong>Kaihenneh Sengbeh</strong> – Manager for Communication, Media &Public Affairs </li>
</ul>
<p>At the Liberia Revenue Authority holds Regional Domestic Resource Mobilization Dialogue in Grand Gedeh County.</p>
