Governor Ubong advised women to join vocational training institutions like Wau Mayo Vocational Training Center and Don Bosco Technical School to acquire building, carpentry, driving and welding skills.
Women's political party representative Veronica Lupo encouraged women to work collectively with the state government in boosting developmental projects and strengthening unity. "We the women do not divide people, but rather unite them for the development of our country."

Emphasizing the importance of home education, Acting Minister of Social Development Valentino Yak Kon urged both men and women to combat domestic violence, calling for peaceful solutions to any misunderstandings.

The colorful ceremony began with a procession from El-Salam playground to the Government Secretariat, where it was received by the governor, his cabinet and representatives of state women's groups. The parade was led by the state's women police, followed by the police band and women's groups.
